The plaque was created by special request from the veterans group, Unknown Soldiers, in Virginia.

I was sent a copy of the patch they use on their jackets and asked to incorporate it into a plaque. The plaque is to be presented to a departing member. I incorporated as much detail as possible from the patch. I got everything captured, but it was decided to not paint the rifle or motorcycle.

At this point the burning and engraving was not complete due to tired hands.
The photos below demonstrate that it sits flat on the wall and has a nice smooth finish.

Due to the custom nature of this plaque I cannot give a general price. This would have been approximately $50.00 plus shipping, but they are a non-profit veterans group so a discount was worked into the price. This plaque is 24 inches across and approximately 12 inches tall. It is cut from furniture grade baltic birch plywood, mounting strips on the back to use framing wire to make for easy, flush hanging, and is finished with a semi gloss lacquer.
