Dragon Plaques By Request only!!
These plaques are made by request only. You get to specify the color scheme. These are just 2 examples of dragons I have made. The camera doesn't do them justice. As you can see from the photos, each detail, as well as the border, is burned by hand into the walnut plaque. The flash of the camera negates the layered effect in the paint. All colors, except the stone, are 2-4 layers of varying colors. The top layer is usually a metallic blend of the lower color drybrushed on to accentuate the color and not hide it. The stone itself is actually a textured paint to also add dimension to the portrait. The finish is a semi-gloss to catch the highlights but not let them be overwhelmed by the room lighting.
